Inclusion is Mermazing
Conceptualized by Jennifer McGee and Illustrated by Zoey Qu. This piece is bursting with charm and showcasing imagery that is not usually seen. We wanted to add representation for those that are typically not shown in media this way. A Mermaid utilizing a mobility aid is unique and charming and lets people that are similar to her see themselves in new unique way.
Inclusion is Magical
This piece was designed by Jennifer McGee and Illustrated by Zoey Qu. Jennifer’s vision in this piece is to inspire confidence and self love. The happy, carefree unicorn moves with pride with her prosthetic legs in a playful dance with the butterfly fluttering beside her. The bright happy colors of the unicorn and butterfly stand out prominently against a whimsical background of magical light. The illustration conveys innocence and happiness. It is impossible to escape the joy this piece speaks.
Inclusion Needs No Words
Conceptualized by Jennifer McGee, Illustrated by Zoey Qu. This piece was inspired by Jennifer’s non-speaking child, Isahiah. Although Isahiah doesn’t talk and is often content in his own space, he does enjoy the companionship of friends and family. With his favorite caterpillar toy beside him, the boy in the illustration is feeling the comfort and security of friendship as his friend plays with her toys close beside him. Each is enjoying their own activity, not talking or interacting. Just simply being together. This piece gives the viewer the feeling of connection.
Inclusion is Enchanted
Inclusion is Enchanted was designed to capture the beauty and resilience that we all have within ourselves. A girl with developmental disabilities in a garden feels inadequate and full of self doubt. Tiny fairies sense her pain and surround her to give her support. They whisper to her of her worth, and the true beauty she adds to the garden. The young girl can feel the love and acceptance the fairies offer. This piece is meant to inspire all of us to see the wholeness in every person despite physical or mental disabilities, and encourage others to see that wholeness in themselves. This is the kindness that creates a beautiful garden that is truly Enchanted.
Inclusion is Out of this World
Conceptualized by Jennifer McGee and Illustrated by Zoey Qu. Created to emphasize acceptance of those that are different. Inclusion should not have boundaries or limitations. Inclusion here means respecting, accepting, and embracing everyone. The space imagery also illustrates that our imaginations are not confined and can be explored through new experiences and reflection.
Inclusion Rocks
This piece was inspired by Jennifer McGee and designed and illustrated by Zoey Qu. The vision is pure passion and rebellion, of course in true rock fashion. Rebellion against the stereotypes that persons with disabilities are broken and bland. Rebellion against political and social exclusion. Rebellion against our own inner selves that tell us we are not good enough, or strong enough to live life with passion. This piece conveys fun, and the sense to live life to the fullest without shame or guilt, but to live with self acceptance and pride.

Whispers from the Garden
Field of Awakening
Conceptualized by Jennifer McGee and Illustrated by Zoey Qu. This illustration is about self love and wholeness. Using the sunflower that has been labeled the international symbol for invisible disability this illustration makes powerful visual statements to the viewers. Persons with invisible disabilities range from autism and other neurological disorders, mental health disorders, and physical and developmental impairments. Often persons with invisible disabilities are dismissed by society, or even family. The sharp contrast of the tall velvety sunflower to the field of invisible sunflowers is a statement of self reflection. Standing tall and shining to the world, feeling whole and accepting itself in all ways is a great sense of love and inner peace. The field is full of others with unseen disabilities just as society is in every moment. We do not know the weights that others carry and the invisible struggles right in front of us. This piece speaks patience, acceptance and love, of others and ourselves. It is beautiful as a Giclee print or Arylic piece. Museum Quality.
Unmasking
The scene depicts an autistic character removing her mask in a social situation, bravely revealing her true expression. Meanwhile, other figures in the scene—some still wearing masks, others mimicking others or concealing their own actions.
